Although both still rumors, it is a mystery how much of the hype could be true. As a current Nikon user (and former Canon user so I try to be unbiased), I really hope that both are real and come to market this year so I can add one to my bag. Strangely, or perhaps luckily, the SLR market is moving at full steam despite the economy and professionals and hobbyist alike are both upgrading to the next bigger, badder camera despite the high price tags and next day obsolescence.
